The Character Of Fabric: Texture

Previously we discussed the inherent qualities of fabrics (rigidity and thickness) and how they affect drapery and movement.

Now we begin looking at the surface characteristics that give different fabrics their distinct appearances.

In this series of videos we observe variations in fabric texture and how this affects interaction with light.
