>> The Short Version:
If you don’t have time to watch the video right now, here’s the short version of the story…
I’m stating the obvious here, but the passion and creativity of the OAL community is inspiring.
…and it seems that the connections we have all formed are just too strong to put on hiatus…
We were already amazed at the positive, encouraging messages on social media and email about how you don’t want OAL to end…
But then, last weekend, CTNX happened.
I know I’m not the only one who can say that seeing the growing OA community come together at CTNX was a memory that will last the rest of my life.
I was amazed at how many OA folks were talking about OA Live specifically. …how much they love this community of geeky-unicorn-storytellers, the power of storytelling, the creative fulfillment of personal projects, the content of the lessons…
The team and I were amazed by the support for this community…
In the week since, the team pulled together to make a new plan to keep the course going and growing. We’ve been working with our accountant to help us hire additional staff and the plans we have to improve the format and the website will simplify the production process.
We will need your help and input over the next two months as we are creating new content and preparing for a new, promotional effort (under the new name) in February.
