LORA: Thank you for signing up for the Super-Secret-Early-Notification-List for “Operation Cray-Cray” a.k.a. The-Most-Audacious-Thing-Oatley-Academy-Has-Ever-Tried-To-Pull-Off.
Last week on Twitter I asked “When it comes to getting more eyes on your work, what are the greatest obstacles you don’t know how to overcome?”
Most of the answers fell into several categories:
- I don’t know who my audience is.
- I don’t know how to grow my audience.
- I don’t know how to get helpful critiques.
- I don’t know the right approach to marketing myself online.
- I post things online but no one seems to care.
- I can’t get my audience to engage.
- I don’t have enough time to make art and build a following.
- I don’t know how to find fans who will support me monetarily.
Chris and I have talked about these problems for years. We finally think we have answers worth sharing.
Take heart: Operation Cray-Cray* is coming soon!
CHRIS: In the meantime:

We know we’re being coy about this new project (but that’s part of the fun).
…but if this conversation has brought up any questions about story, theme, audience etc., feel free to share those too and we’ll do our best to respond.
Stay tuned, and thanks again for signing up!
